What drives us

A thriving, inclusive and sustainable Bega Valley where people have every opportunity to reach their potential.

How we do this

We do this through an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the Bega Valley, a strong knowledge of, and connection to, the organisations, groups and individuals that are working to improve the region, and by funding and enabling the local initiatives they lead.

Give Where You Live

Mumbulla Community Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation that funds, supports and enables local initiatives while building the capacity of individuals and organisations to enhance their wellbeing, prosperity, resilience, sustainability and social cohesion within the Bega Valley.

We welcome charitable donations (particularly from the local community) and we actively source grant funding and other resources to support our work.

Supporting people across the Bega Valley

The Mumbulla Community Foundation established in 2000, is the community foundation of the Bega Valley Shire. We raise money to provide grants to charitable and not for profit organisations in the Shire. We also fund university scholarships, school book prizes, back to school vouchers and continuing education scholarships.

How to give

From one-time donations to regular monthly contributions tailored to your budget, giving has never been more simple and more accessible. Please help us to support your community.

All donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. A Tax Receipt will be issued recognising your contribution.

Grants and Scholarships

Mumbulla Community Foundation offers a number of grants and scholarships for community organisations and residents of the Bega Valley.

Thank you

The Mumbulla Community Foundation is grateful for the generous support of all our Donors, Businesses, Foundations and Organisations who have played a vital role in providing funding for our Community Grants, Scholarships, Back to School Vouchers and Book Prizes.

I am writing to thank the Mumbulla Foundation for considering my application and awarding me this generous community scholarship!  The funds from this scholarship will be put toward purchase of my nursing uniforms for student placement, a stethoscope and text books so I will now be better equipped to get out there and engage with the community within the nursing profession as a first year nursing student! Thank you so much!  Your support is very much valued and appreciated and I will work hard to contribute and give back to our wonderful community within the Bega Valley.
